Students working closely with the College faculty, in small groups or in individual tutorials, will examine the historical, ecological, cultural, social and interpretive workings of the parkthrough a variety of activities and learning experiences.

Students will be immersed in themanagement and experience of Acadia. Having just celebrated the centennial ofboth the national park system and Acadia last year, this course providesexciting opportunities to explore through art, research, reading, and writing,the broader themes of:

Throughout the course, students willwork directly with the College faculty members, writing extensively about theirexperiences, and working as part of a team to develop a presentation to sharewith their professors, peers, and the public at the end of the session.
通过课程,同学们将与学院教职员工一起工作,把他们的经历更好地写出来,并作为小组的一员完成一个报告,于夏校结束时与教授、同学们及公众分享。
Students who successfully complete the program, and who apply and are accepted to the College, will be eligible for a $10,000/year scholarship should they ultimately choose to matriculate as adegree candidate.
成功完成夏校课程与活动,申请本学院并被录取的学生,将得到每年1万美元的奖学金。
