关于AP美国历史，你需要知道的所有事情

· 为什么需要考？

AP分数3分以上（满分5分）的学生在大学学业成功概率更高；

“Research consistently shows that students who receive a score of 3 or higher on AP Exams typically experience greater academic success in college and have higher graduation rates than their non-AP peers.” —College Board

AP分数3分以上可以替换成大学的学分（5 分＝A；4 分＝A−, B+,  B；3 分＝B−, C+,  C）；

· 得分情况怎么样？难考吗？

College Board 统计了去年考生在各个学科中的各个分数项的百分比 (见下表)。在历史社科类中，AP各学科考试人数和3分以上的考生比例是：

我们可以看到考美国史的人数在历史社科中是相对最大的（仅次于英语语言English Language，排第三参考人数最多的是English Literature），大多数本土考生的选择也许是实际角度出发，毕竟美国历史和英语语言／文学是美高都已经学过的内容，拿到3分以上应该相对值得的事。这就很迷了，因为现实是美国史拿到高分的比例却相对比较低。这个考试不是想像中的那么容易，为什么考试人数那么多呢？

也许，即便实现考分需要加大功夫，但这个学习的过程是值得的。对于我们即将去美国读本科的学生们来说更是如此。备考美国史的过程，考生需要训练阅读历史文献的能力，语言层面上是词汇积累和应用的过程，在思维层面上，分析不同历史观点，思考起因经过和影响，并把阶段历史放在大的历史背景去审视，是学习辩证思维（critical thinging skills）的过程。

· AP美国史考什么内容呢？

【第一部分】

Part A. 多选题55道，占比40%，55分钟，知识点范围1491年到现在。考生需要阅读历史文献（文字，图表或者图片），然后回答2-5题，例如：

Part B. 简答题3道， 占比20%，40分钟， 两道知识点范围1754～1980年，一道二选一，考生需要阅读历史文献（文字，图表或者图片）回答对应的问题，不需要考生详细论证支持一个论点，例如：

【第二部分】

Part A. 文献分析题1道，占比25%，60分钟，知识点范围1754～1980年。这部分需要考生阅读需要阅读并分析九篇历史文献（文字，图表或者图片）；

Part B. 独立写作题1道，占比15%，40分钟， 题目三选一，范围分别为1491～1800年，1800～1898年，1890～2018，需要有历史事件为依据，多角度分析。

总共三个小时十五分钟的考试，有两个技能是被强调的：1.阅读历史文献；2.分析历史文献。

考过SAT的同学会不会觉得很眼熟？是的！和SAT阅读中的历史文献阅读，以及写作中的分析历史文献是一样一样的！

· 我该怎么备考呢？

重点来了，既然这么难这么重要这么有价值，我们该怎么备考呢？简单的说，投入很重要，时间上需要充足的准备。

特别是如果我们还没全面学习过美国史（或者上了课，但没怎么重视且走心的学习），那么Domino建议至少需要三个月的时间去准备。

一个半月时间熟悉教材内容，看一遍 Ameican Pageant  (这本书有一千多页，很厚，也很详尽)，或者看三遍 Direct Hits US History in a Flash （不到四百页，主要事件和时期的高度概括，更贴近考点）, 能清晰整理出九个美国历史时期的时间脉络和重要事件。

所以今年五月份的考试，这个寒假就开始准备是很有比较的哦。
