老梁解析 | 夏校申请指南--Havard University

今天我们来说说，也有很多同学会申请夏校项目的高校--Harvard University-哈佛大学。哈佛夏校的简介如下：

大家要注意一下，申请的通道根据你是不是high school student以及大学生，各有不同。大家可以看我的截图下：

作为High School Students，大家有两个option可以选择：

第一种是叫pre-college program。根据描述，他是一个无学分的两周住校项目（A two-week residential experience featuring noncredit courses）。Session有三种，最早一个session是June 28-July 10, 2019。

对我们国际申请者来说，比较适合的是Session II (July 12–July 24, 2020)还有Session III (July 26–August 7, 2020)。他的主要课程在该链接中可以搜索到：

第二种是叫Secondary School Program。他是一个七周带学分的学术项目。这是很多洞学会申请的课程。

另外，需要注意，申请的截止日期分别是：

2020 APPLICATION DEADLINES

需要注意的是，国际生的申请也是有优先级的。3月15日前提交的，还是属于regular admission的：

There will be two admissions deadlines for 2020: January 31 for early applicants, and March 15 for regular applications. After April 3, there will be rolling admissions, if spots are still available in the program.

There is no minimum GPA requirement. We evaluate all information submitted—including transcripts, counselor reports, and your GPA—when considering your application. You are welcome to submit PSAT, SAT, or ACT test scores, but they are not required.

另外，昨天有位朋友问我：因为学校标注了：If English is not your native language, take one of the required proficiency tests early to ensure you get your scores in time to apply early in the application cycle.

朋友问，如果是在美国读高中的呢？

我算了算，就算是在美国读高中，且从9年级开始读。大部分申请者都是11年级的暑假去参加夏校，那么你也就读了2年多一点。

所以，申请哈佛夏校，你依然需要考TOEFL，以证明你有不错的语言能力。
