我们都是热血的排球少年 | 清华附中国际部第一赛季赛事回顾（男子排球）

2019-2020学年北京市国际学校运动联盟的第一个赛季圆满结束。来自清华附中国际部的两支男子排球队分别获得第一赛区亚军及第四赛区亚军。队员们在比赛中展现了高超的技术以及国际部的核心价值观。本期，让我们一同回顾男队在这个赛季的精彩瞬间吧！

The two THIS JV Boys Volleyball teams ended the season with second place in ISAC Division 1 and second place in ISAC Division 4.All players played well and represented THIS values of sportsmanship, support, growth and hard work throughout thier seasons.

男子排球一队——第一赛区亚军

Varsity Boys – 2nd Place in Division 1

清华附中国际部男子排球一队在本赛季跻身水平最强的第一赛区，这是对实力的肯定同时也意味着巨大的挑战。总体来说，本赛季男子排球一队的表现可圈可点，虽然在赛季初有失水准，但他们在后来的比赛里全力应对，发挥稳定。球队中的每一名成员都展现了高超的运动技能和体育精神。队员们攻防两端发挥出色，教练在球队陷入低迷时给予极大的支持。球队在总决赛中将亚军奖杯收入囊中，完美结束本赛季。

The THIS Varsity boys volleyball team competed in division 1 in ISAC this year, the highest division available. This would be a challenge to the team to step up their level of play. The THIS Varsity boys volleyball team managed to do this and did a tremendous job this season. The team didn’t have a good start when the season begun, but they managed to relax and gave all their skills and effort afterwards. Every player on the team showed great skills and sportsmanship on the court. They made beautiful sets and smashes, and they made very decent defense plays. The coach did a great job on encouraging his players and gathering the team together when they are down. At last, the team played really good and showed full effort on the final tournament, and got a second place, which ended the season as a happy result.

本赛季第一场比赛男队出师不利，不敌北京加拿大国际学校。之后，球队以微弱的优势战胜海嘉国际双语学校。虽然惜败北京德威英国国际学校，但球队连赢德国使馆学校和北京乐成国际学校，结束常规赛的所有比赛。决赛中，球队和北京德威英国国际学校再度对位，队员们吸取上场比赛的经验，凭借实力和信心拿下了比赛。总决赛虽不敌北京加拿大国际学校，但亚军奖杯依然给本赛季画上了美好的句号。

The boys lost their first game against CISB, showing them the level they needed to play at. They then went on to win against BIBA in a close match. They then lost a close match to DCB before beating DSP and BCIS to close out the regular season. In the final tournament, they got a rematch against DCB and with their improvement and confidence took the victory, moving them on to the finals where they fell to CISB. It was a great season of growth for the boys.

Player of the Week

刘澎潮无论是球技还是场上场下的领导能力都非常出色。当队伍落后，球员们情绪低落时，他总是那个鼓舞士气和制造气氛的人。此外，他一传和二传都很稳定。

Charlie showed a lot of wonderful skills on the court and played a great team leader during the game and practice. When the team was behind and his teammates are depressed, Charlie always encourages his teammates and make sure the team chemistry are stable. Charlie also showed great skills on receiving the ball and setting the ball for his teammate.

赵政远同学赛场上既尊重队友也尊重对手，在比赛中能够全力拼搏、赛场上表现突出，赢得了大家的信任和尊重！

Edward showed great improvements from the last game. He showed great attitude and pushed as hard as he can. Edward respected his teammates and opponents. During the game, Edward made a lot of amazing plays that was impressive.

梁烨同学在球场上拼劲十足，展现了出色的领导才能。他为队友传了不少好球，也奋力扑救起很多球。此外，他在场上发挥的十分沉着稳定。

Kenny displayed great effort and leadership skills. Kenny also showed great skills on the court. He made a couple great sets for his teammates, and he also performed a lot of splendid saves. Kenny also acted really calm on the court, and performed really awesome.

男子排球二队——第四赛区亚军

Varsity Boys – 2nd Place in Division 4

清华附中国际部男子排球二队在本赛季首场比赛对阵北京英国学校，虽然0比3不敌对手，但教练Sumita老师认为这不失为一个很好的开始。在接下来的日常训练中，男队队员利用午饭和周三放学后的时间加训加练，进步显著。此后，男队豪取四连胜，以3比0的大比分横扫北京鼎石国际学校、海嘉国际双语学校、北京哈罗英国学校，以及北京乐成国际学校，成为小组二号种子选手成功挺进决赛。

On September 6th, 2019, the THIS JV Boys Volleyball team had their first game of the season at BSB. Despite ended up with a 0:3 loss against BSB, the process was a decent start to the season which Coach Sumita was quite happy with. The JV boys then progressed significantly through their hard work poured at regular trainings, and additional trainings during lunch and Wednesdays afterschool. There is no better way to show this than the next 4 consecutive wins the Spartans pulled out against Keystone, BIBA, Harrow, and BCIS, which were all 3:0 wins! In doing so, the Spartans were able to go to the final tournament as the number 2 seed, where the number 1 seed is BSB.

作为二号种子选手，男队享有首场轮空直接进入第二轮的特权。只要他们拿下对阵海嘉双语学校的比赛，就可以向总决赛和冠军奖杯发起冲击。男队队员全力以赴，认真对待每一次发球和进攻，最终以3比0轻取比赛。

As the number 2 seed, the Spartans had a bye for the first round of the tournament. They would advance to the finals as long as they won against BIBA in the second round. During the game with BIBA, every Spartan of the team played with full concentration with almost no faulty serves and hits, there was even a set which the Spartans won by 15 points. The Spartans eventually won 3:0 against BIBA for the second time and advanced to the finals.

总决赛中男队与北京英国学校再度对位。面对实力雄厚的对手，男队队员没有胆怯。虽然0比3失掉比赛，但他们为观众和自己献上一场精彩的对决，第四赛区亚军奖杯也给本赛季交上了一份满意的答卷。期待他们在下个赛季的精彩表现！

The Spartans' final opponent was BSB again, a team filled with athleticism and physical advantages compared to the Spartans. In the end, the Spartans lost 0:3 against BSB for the second time, but this time it was certainly a much closer and marvelous game than their first loss against BSB. The JV boys ended the season with second place in ISAC Division 4 and we hope all of them will have a brighter experience with volleyball next season.

Player of the Week

Martin在训练和对阵北京英国学校的比赛中都展现了极大的决心。当队友失分时，他是坚强的后盾，是团队凝聚力的核心。他是一个充满激情和能量的球员。

Martin Wong kicks off as the first JV players of the week. He has definitely been very determined in practices and in the first game at BSB. Martin had contributed a lot to his team by constantly backing them up when losing a point and driving his team positively. He is very passionate player.

Howard在对阵北京鼎石国际学校的比赛中表现出色。第三局他用强劲的发球、准确的传球和拦网能力，带领队伍赢得比赛。无论在日常训练还是比赛中，他都是一名靠得住的球员。

Howard is a really strong player in the JV team, who played and won against Keystone in the last week. In the third set, Howard carried the team to the finish line. He played very strong with his serves, accurate passes and blocking at the net. He is a good teammate who is extremely reliable during games and trainings.

Ben在对阵北京海嘉双语学校时成为拿下比赛的关键球员。比赛前半程，他与队员默契配合，让球队士气大增。比赛后半程他连续砍下13分，帮助球队大比分取得胜利。

Ben had been the key player of the JV boys team, especially in the game against BIBA. He stood out as the most important player for the victory, from the get-go, he collaborated well with his teammates and kept the spirit of the team up. Near the end of the game he scored 13 points in a row to give THIS a smashing victory.

两支球队在整个赛季中都践行了体育精神、团队精神和永不放弃的拼搏精神。
