Getting outside the typical classroom setting is common at SAS. Our AP Environmental Science students took the opportunity to gather data for survivorship curves by venturing into a fictious campus cemetery - proving that knowledge and fun go hand in hand.

在上海美国学校，进行常规课堂之外的教学很常见。我们的AP环境科学课学生借此机会，冒险进入一个虚拟校园墓地，收集存活曲线数据，证明了学校的课程可以寓教于乐。

The students are further enriched by learning outside and looking at the subject in a more active and experiential way. While it’s housed in the science department, AP Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary course that focuses on ecological processes, human impacts on the Earth, and how to resolve or prevent natural and human-made environmental problems.

通过在户外学习及以更积极、更富有体验感的方式研究课题，学生们学到的知识更加丰富。虽然被归类在科学部门之下，但AP环境科学是一门跨学科课程，主要研究生态过程、人类对地球的影响以及如何解决或预防自然和人为环境问题。
