简介
The Master of Science in Real Estate [MSc(RealEst)] programme approaches real estate from a business and economic perspective. The aims of the programme are threefold. The first aim is to introduce students to real estate assets and markets, within the overall framework of law, institutions, and urban economies. The second aim is to provide students with the theoretical insight and analytical skills to identify and evaluate real estate investment opportunities in both private and public sectors, including land development, asset management, financial market transactions (e.g. REIT), and innovative land conversion ventures (e.g. PERE). The third aim is to equip students with the necessary management skills to understand and participate in functional and general management of enterprises active in real estate markets.
房地产理学硕士(理学硕士(RealEst))课程从商业和经济角度研究房地产。该方案的目标有三方面。第一个目标是在法律、机构和城市经济的整体框架内,向学生介绍房地产资产和市场。第二个目标是为学生提供理论洞察力和分析技能,以确定和评估私人和公共部门的房地产投资机会,包括土地开发、资产管理、金融市场交易(如房地产投资信托基金)和创新的土地转换企业(如PERE)。第三个目标是使学生具备必要的管理技能,以了解和参与活跃于房地产市场的企业的职能和一般管理。
Each student must complete twelve courses including prescribed and elective courses; or每名学生必须修毕12门课程,包括必修课和选修课;或
nine courses including prescribed and elective courses plus a dissertation. 九门课程,包括必修课和选修课,外加一篇论文。

MSc(RealEst) including all its majors is recognized by RICS and the General Practice Division of HKIS. The MSc(RealEst) programme majoring in Urban Development is additionally accredited by the Planning and Development Division of HKIS. 理学硕士(RealEst)包括其所有专业均获RICS及香港特许测量师学会一般实务部认可。城市发展理学硕士(RealEst)课程亦获香港建筑师学会规划及发展部认可

Curriculum Structure课程
The aim of the curriculum design is to provide advanced education in the academic and professional aspects of real estate development, investment, and management. Where appropriate the curriculum will be related to cases not only in Hong Kong but also the People's Republic of China and the Southeast Asian region. 课程设计的目的是提供高等教育的学术和专业方面的房地产开发,投资和管理。在适当情况下,课程将不仅涉及香港的案例,还将涉及中华人民共和国和东南亚地区的案例。

Selection of elective courses from the syllabus shall be subject to the approval of the Taught Postgraduate Committee. Not all courses from the syllabus will be offered every year. Candidates are required to take elective courses from a pool of designated electives to be announced by the Programme Director at the beginning of the year.
选修课程之选择,应经硕士班教学委员会同意。并不是所有的课程大纲都将提供每年。申请人须从指定的选修科目中选修课程,课程将于年初由计划总监宣布。
* Candidates may take Dissertation (RECO6020) in lieu of Project workshop (RE) (RECO6059) in order to meet the prescribed courses requirements of the MSc (RE) degree. Both are capstone courses, which focus on the integration and application of knowledge and skills that candidates have acquired throughout their studies. Candidates who take Dissertation (RECO6020) as a capstone course may have to complete the curriculum with more than 72 credits.
*申请人可修读学位论文(RECO6020)以代替专题研习(RE) (RECO6059),以符合理学硕士(RE)学位的规定课程要求。这两门课程的重点都是整合和应用候选人在整个学习过程中获得的知识和技能。学位论文(RECO6020)作为毕业论文课程的总结性课程,其学分必须超过72学分。
