【读Phd的一些tips，写给我的小伙伴儿们】

1.英国的full-time Phd 注册期一般是3年，然后允许你有一年时间写学位论文，这一年叫做，written-up year。

2.最低要求一般是2.1及以上学位，换算国内是80+的均分。当然，这个不是最重点，最重点是你的research proposal是不是契合。

3.英国是允许本科直接读博的，但一般要本科到First class的段位，换算国内成绩基本要90+，写作一般不低于7.

4.除了最最重要的Research Proposal，还需要一份Academic CV来拓展你的经历，需要强化你的专业领域和研究方向，以及课题方向。

5.找导师，找导师要先确定自己的研究方向是否和人家导师相关，可以提前看人家的Paper，如果觉得一拍即可，可以开始给他们发Cover letter说说你最近的情况，问是否需要你这号人，问他们缺人不。如果他也觉得你也还厉害好有腔调的话，会让你进一步的把研究计划给他，甚至给你单独约面试机会。如果不匹配别浪费时间。

6. 奖学金申请。英国博士奖学金申请对于国际生来说竞争还是很激烈的，一般有CSC资助（前提是拿exemption from tuition fees的Offer、 国际生奖学金申请。
