1、澳洲教育专业——教育学(Education)
对于教育学来讲,澳洲大部分学校的教育学本科课程都被澳洲教师协会认可,一般分为单学位、双学位、学前、小学、中学等方向,学制一般为4-5年。语言要求较高,完成学校实习,顺利获得学位且雅思达到当地州语言标准后即可注册为教师。目前学前和中学教育方向为移民专业。对于硕士,主要学习学校课程开发,教育管理,教育心理学,教学研究等,将来可从事学校管理者,政府部门,教务工作者等工作。此专业不可以在澳洲做老师,是非移民专业。
2、澳洲教育专业——教学(Teaching)硕士
而教学(Teaching)硕士,澳洲的教学硕士分为学前、小学、中学三个领域,学生可以根据兴趣及专业背景进行选择,此专业语言要求较高,一般为雅思总分7.5分,听说8分,读写7分。目前学前和中学方向为移民专业。
那么要想成为一名教师,需要经过怎样的评估过程呢?
至少具备的条件如下:
1、学位证书,相当于四年的澳洲教育本科学历,如果本科不是教育的,要读1-2年教师专业的研究生。
2、至少45天与所提名教师职业相关的受监督的教学实践。
3、雅思成绩:听说读写每部分都要在7分以上。有效期一年。

The Master of Teaching (Secondary) prepares graduates for secondary teaching in a wide range of curriculum areas, and provides a qualification in two learning areas (or a double sequence). Teacher Candidates complete 200 points of study over two years full time. The first three semesters focus on teaching in learning areas with a strong emphasis on Clinical Teaching practice and preparation for independent teaching. The Master of Teaching (Primary) prepares graduates to teach in generalist primary classrooms. The course has a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy education and seeks to develop exemplary teacher practitioners who enter the profession ready for the diverse contexts they will experience.
