Reforming the legal system would help both lawyers and their customers. Sensible ideas have been around for a long time, but the state-level bodies that govern the profession have been too conservative to implement them. One idea is to allow people to study law as an undergraduate degree. Another is to let students sit for the bar after only two years of law school.

第一步：读懂题干，定位答案区间

1、题干：Hindrance to the reform of the legal system originates from▁▁▁▁.（法律系统改革的障碍来源于▁▁▁▁）

2、定位：通过题干中的Hindrance、the reform of the legal system这些定位词可以把答案区间定位到所给段落的第1句话。

Reforming the legal system would help both lawyers and their customers.

参考译文：改革法律系统将对律师和客户双方都有利。

题目问的是法律系统改革的障碍来源于什么，显然，这句话并没有回答出题干的问题。

定位技巧：

遇到这种情况（初次定位的部分，并不是真正的答案区间），这时我们要去重新定位答案区间，其实很简单，我们只要去看刚才所读句子的下面一句话即可，即：

Sensible ideas have been around for a long time, but the state-level bodies that govern the profession have been too conservative to implement them.

第二步：精读定位部分，并思考该部分是否回答出题干问题

Sensible ideas have been around for a long time, but the state-level bodies that govern the profession have been too conservative to implement them.

参考译文：虽然合理的建议已经存在了很长一段时间，但是管理该行业的州级政府机关却一直太保守，而不能执行这些建议。

句子分析

1、该句是一个并列句，由but连接。

2、分句一：Sensible ideas（主语） have been（系动词） around （表语）for a long time（介词短语作时间状语），

3、分句二：the state-level bodies（主语） that govern the profession（that引导的定语从句，修饰主语） have been（系动词） too conservative（表语） to implement them（动词不定式短语作结果状语）.

请思考一个问题

这句话有没有回答出题干的问题？

其实已经回答了，其障碍是the state-level bodies，因为他们太保守了，导致改革的建议没有得到执行，你在脑海中只要记住the state-level bodies这个关键对象就可以了。

定位、解题小技巧：

定位时，看到表示转折的词汇（but、yet、however等）一定要敏感起来，因为转折部分往往是作者真正想强调的部分，是答案区间的概率很大。

第三步：对比选项，确定答案

正确选项分析

看到B选项中的bodies governing the profession，就要意识到这应该是正确答案，因为B选项和答案区间的主体对象是一致的。

此外，B选项中的rigid跟答案区间（定位部分）中的conservative是一对明显的同意替换，发现同意替换，果断确定答案。

确定答案的技巧：

正确选项的核心特征是：跟答案区间之间会体现同意替换（词和词之间的同意替换、整体上的同意替换）。

附：错误选项分析

A.lawyers’ and clients’ strong resistance.（律师和客户的抵抗）

错误原因：选项意思跟定位部分相反（Reforming the legal system would help both lawyers and their customers. 既然对律师和客户都有利，他们怎么会抵抗了？）

C.the stern exam for would-be lawyers.（严格的准律师资格考试）

D.non-professional’s sharp criticism.（非专业人士的批评）

错误原因：选项意思在定位部分（答案区间）中没有提到。定位部分没有提到考试的严格、非专业人士的批评。

排除答案的技巧

错误选项的常见特征有：

1、选项意思跟定位部分相反（A选项）。

2、选项意思在定位部分中没有提到（这是最常见的特征，比如本题的C、D选项）。
