驰战车，舞飞绳，协和上演速度与激情 | The Chariot Race & Rope Skipping Competition

11月，料峭寒风悄悄吹过

热火朝天的体育馆里，温暖从不停歇

协和学子走出课堂、离开书本

这边厢，脱下冬装，挽起长绳

那边厢，驾着“战车”冲锋陷阵

JUMP! JUMP! RUN! RUN!

欢呼呐喊声交织在一起

奏响了这个季节的协和最强音

Chariot Race

什么，学校里居然开起了隆隆“战车”？没错，上周五，先锋融合课程的同学就在协和双语学校体育馆里举行了一场令人大饱眼福的“战车比赛”。

Wow! What a marvellous spectacle we had with our 2018 Pioneer Grade 4 Chariot Race held in the gym last Friday.

想要在战车比赛中拔得头筹？

不仅需要外形设计独具匠心

更要结合实用性、可操控性及安全性能

于是，同学们打开了一个个探究的新世界

此次先锋四年级探究的主题为”古代文明“。以此为突破口，老师们精心策划了跨学科战车建构比赛，所有战车的设计、制作都出自孩子们之手。比赛这天，形态各异、创意满溢的”战车“悉数隆重登场了！

The grade 4 students project for their first inquiry was Ancient Civilizations and the project we chose for them was a chariot building competition which culminated in the chariot design and chariot race competition held today.

这是一场速度与力量的决战，更是团队默契指数大比拼，小伙伴们纷纷使出浑身解数一争高下。最后，老师们的参与更让比赛进入难分高下的白热化状态，全场掀起了一阵又一阵高潮。

We held three competitions today – An obstacle race to see which was the fastest chariot, a best designed chariot and a special race – with one team from each class pulling their Chinese Inquiry teachers.

正如获得比赛冠军的DoDo队口号一样：“只要努力尝试，任何事都能做到。”经过此次探究活动，希望每一位协和学子在学习的道路上都能勇于挑战，上下求索，成就自己一个又一个精彩的小梦想！

What a great activity to finish off their first Inquiry topic in Grade 4.Let’s hope that the students have learned some things from it and go for ever onwards, and upwards, in their learning. In the words of the fastest chariot – we can DoDo anything we want – as long as we try.

Rope Skipping Competition

其实，在刚刚过去的两周里，协和体育馆的每一天都热火朝天，因为这里正在进行着全校总动员的跳绳比赛。每一位协和学子都成了能量爆棚的小宇宙，在比赛中释放出无穷的自信与活力。

The students from SUIS Hongqiao Campus took part in the Rope Skippng Competition during last two weeks. They all fully involved in the competition and enjoyed the fun of sports.
