清华附中国际部学生在2018中文阅读比赛中喜获佳绩

世界上没有一艘船，能像那一本本书，可以承载我们厚重的理想，也没有任何一匹骏马，就像一页页跳跃着的诗行，可以带我们去远方……

初赛

为促进国际学校间关于中文阅读活动的合作与交流，有效提升学生阅读兴趣，2018“云舒写”国际学校中文阅读比赛在北京德威英国国际学校隆重举行。11月7日是此次阅读比赛的初赛活动，根据比赛规则，五、六年级学生在网络平台上需要在20分钟内答出30道客观题。比赛还未开始，学生们早已怀着激动期盼的心情做好了充分的准备，在经过紧张刺激的答题后，我校学生以包揽B组前三的初赛成绩进入决赛，其中最高分为满分30分，第二名为29分，第三名为28分，而小学组《青铜葵花》阅读比赛33组队伍整体排名中，我校也以满分30分获得一等奖。The 2018 "Yunshu Writing Cup" Chinese reading competition of international schools was successfully conducted in Dulwich College Beijing.The preliminary competition was held onNovember 7th. According to the competition rules, Grade 5 and Grade 6 students needed to answer 30 objective questions in 20 minutes on the Internet. After answering questions, the students in our school got the top three in category B. THIS won the first prizewith a full score of 30 points.

决赛

“欲练英雄志，须明胜负多。”经过初赛的比拼，我校五、六年级两支代表队在39支参赛队伍中脱颖，进入了最后决赛环节。11月23日，“陌上谁家年少，足多智”，冬日的沉寂终究挡不住孩子们的聪明才智，经过激烈的角逐之后，我校五、六年级参赛队伍喜获一、三等奖的骄人成绩。此次比赛中，小学组参赛书目有：《窗边的小豆豆》、《青铜葵花》与《象母怨》等，其中《青铜葵花》组共有来自三个学校的四支队伍参加决赛。清华附中国际部共派出两支队伍参赛，分别为五年级代表队：马欣怡Ma Grace 、孟芊瑶Meng Maggie、李润锜Li Kai、宋奕南Song Mason；六年级代表队：黄怡然Huang Yiran (Jami) 、邱彦博Qiu Carl 、李安哲Li Andrew、徐煜宸Xu Yuchen(Eric)， 两支队伍分获一等奖与三等奖的骄人佳绩。

After the preliminary competition, the Grade 5 and Grade 6 teams from our school stood out among 39 teams and entered the final stage.

On November 23rd, THIS Grade 5 team (GraceMa, MaggieMeng, KaiLiand MasonSong)and Grade 6 team (JamiHuang, CarlQiu, AndrewLi, EricXu)participated in the final competition. The books they read include: "Little Doudou by The Window", "Bronze Sunflower" and "Elephant Mother Hatred". The two teams won the first prize and the third prize respectively.

此次活动不仅展现了学生们深厚的中国语言与文化底蕴，也是对清华附中国际部中西合璧办学理念成功实践的最佳肯定！所谓“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉”，“阅读”是我们认识世界的方式之一，在他人的经历与感受之中体会不同的人生，借他人的眼睛与文字去开阔自己的视野。“磋砣莫遗韶光老，人生惟有读书好”（《宋诗纪要》）。潜移默化中自身的素质与气质被影响，这就是读书的力量。只有内心世界的充实，才能让一个人有着积极、坚定的生活态度。

This activity not only showed THIS students are good at Chinese language and culture, but also showed the successful practice of the idea of combining Chinese and western education in THIS!"Reading" is one of the ways we know the world. We can experience different lives through other people's experiences and feelings. We can use other people's eyes and words to broaden our horizons.That is the power of reading.Only the enrichment of the inner world can make a person have a positive and firm attitude towards life.

继清华附中国际部中学部中文辩论队10月底夺得“纵横杯”高中组中文辩论赛冠亚军之后，小学部在2018“云舒写”阅读比赛中再获佳绩，这些成绩都展现了清华附中国际部一直践行培养根植中国文化，重视中英双语能力的培养，坚持中文母语教学，培养具有独立思考创新精神的国际化杰出人才的办学宗旨。期待着清华附中国际部的孩子们插上中英文的翅膀，在阅读之路上越走越远，越飞越高！

After THIS stood out in 2018 'Zongheng Cup' International School Chinese Debate Tournament by finishing as the championship and runner-up, THIS Primary school alsowon the first prize and the third prize in Chinese reading competition. Tsinghua International School (THIS) was established by Tsinghua University a decade ago.
